Scott, a lifelong Hoosier, was introduced to magic at a young age from his father, an elementary school teacher, who often used magical talents to entertain kids and impress his poker buddies. Dad taught Scott a thing or two, but Scott wanted more, beyond the snazzy magic box-sets he got for Christmas.
Magic was also popular on TV during the 70s and 80s, with Doug Henning and David Copperfield. The fun even lasted through college, where Scott was an early member of the Purdue Magic Club.
Then, life happened. He acquired two Bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University, in Creative Writing and Computer Technology. He joined a comedy troupe and penned a comic strip. He got married, and had two kids. He worked for 20 years at a “real job,” eventually coming full-circle working at Purdue.
Then, the magic bug bit him again. He discovered that there was a local magic club in Lafayette that had been in town all this time, and it met just a few miles from his house! These were some seriously magical dudes! He started going regularly to meetings and eventually was elected their president. Magic was cool again, and it was on TV and everything!
Since Scott’s reawakening in magic, he has performed at birthday parties and after prom parties. He’s performed regularly at Mosey Down Main Street and Purdue’s Got Talent. Now he’s ready to bring his awesome show to you!
